Hugh Scott-Douglas

Profile

Born in Cambridge, England, in 1988, Hugh Scott-Douglas obtained his BFA in sculpture at the Ontario College of Art and Design.
He has held solo exhibions at Blum and Poe (Los Angeles) and Jessica Silverman Gallery (San Francisco), as well as participated in group shows at the Cordoa Sculpture Park and Museum (Boston), the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (Tronto), and most recently at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University. His work is also featured in several public collections, including the Dallas Museum of Art.
Other projects include the Toronto based contemporary art gallery Tomorrow, of which he was a founding member and continues to serve as a creative consultant, and the publishing project "Yesterday".
He is among the most closely watched artists to emerge in recent years.
