Profile

Matthew Monahan was born in America in 1972 and currently live and works in Los Angeles.He has participated in residencies in Amsterdam, Holland; Kyushu, Japan; and Xiamen City;China.

Since his debut with a solo show at Anton Kern Gallery in 1997, his work has been included in several exhibitions and he has continued to expand his practice after gaining widespread global recognition from his inclusion in the 2006 Whitney Biennial. This exhibition will be his first solo show on the Asian continent.
